Kulrok: the GIANT MONSTER COSTUME

The following series of digital composites were created as part of a "scale shift" project in a class called Art of the Giant Monster, which explored themes and techniques from old and contemporary monster movies.

The shots below document the creation process and early implementation of Storms’s full-body monster costume:

After completing the full-body monster costume, Storms created a music video/short monster film featuring original songs and cheesy practical effects in the style of old B-movies:

Featuring the band Slow Chasm performing songs written by Avery Storms, including a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" sung by Kulrok the Monster.
